Bluetooth Jawbone Iphone weird happenings

I am using the Iphone 3GS with a Jawbone bluetooth. Hadn't used the Jawbone for about 2 months and recently started using again. Two issues happening; When I place a call the Jawbone stops working and the "audio source" icon for bluetooth indicates that the bluetooth is inactive. I have to either manually activate the bluetooth from the "audio source" screen or simply starting talking into the Iphone. The second issue is after receiving a call (the bluetooth is working properly) and hanging up, the "voice control" menu is activated on its own. While the Iphone is in my pocket I hear the voice control asking for a clarification. http://images.macrumors.com/vb/images/smilies/confused.gifStrange???
