Just wondering. I'm thinking of a new Mac Pro with BT keyboard and mouse. I was hoping that the keyboard/mouse would work with both a Mac and PC without the need of a KVM. I'm using a Dell 2405, so I have separate video inputs anyways. Would both computers recognize it, or should I stay with the KVM approach?

You can't pair BT with both simultaneously. You have to re-pair each time you switch.

As long as you dont pair them; they should work with both. Just so long as both computers arent on at the same time; cause then itd be working on both..

At least thats how i think it works.

i'm thinking along the same lines ...

i'd like to have my Apple BT keyboard and mouse setup work on my mac (which has BT built-in) and my PC (which has a bluetooth adapter).

Has anyone tried this out?

Should i be plugging the BT adapter on the PC to the KVM switch? so that the PC recognizes the BT keyboard and mouse only when i've switched over to the PC setup? Or should the BT still be plugged into the PC?

Any recommendations for a "zen" looking KVM switch to go nicely with my Mac? : )
