I just bought a 20" iMac off of eBay for $695 and it came with a wired keyboard and mouse and a Bluetooth keyboard and Magic Trackpad. Upon unboxing the mac, I discovered that the 6 key is missing off of the Bluetooth keyboard. I can still press where the 6 would go, but it's missing the key and the little plastic piece that makes the key pop back up after it is depressed.

What I'm wondering is, if I take it into my local Apple store (which is in Metarie, LA), do you think they can repair it for a fee or replace it? I'm sure they'll charge to repair it, but I would love to know so I don't waste my time going over there if they won't repair it.

Thank you!

That's a little pricey...I can only imagine Apple would charge more.

If it's still under warranty, Apple will replace it. Otherwise, be prepared to pay up. Best bring it in if you can. Only they can tell you for sure.

I took my Bluetooth keyboard to the Apple store today and a Genius fixed it for me for free!

I would have sure thought Apple would have charged me! :)
