Bluetooth Keyboard with Windows 7

Hi I'm having a problem with my apple bluetooth keyboard not being immediately responsive when on Windows 7 under Boot Camp 3.2. Basically, the device pairs with the computer and is functional but whenever I go to type something it takes a few seconds for the bluetooth conection to become secured again and I cannot immediately start typing. I've searched Google but I'm not exactly sure how to word it so I didn't get much luck and was hoping someone on here could help me out.

I have a lag when I first login and after it sleeps. Takes maybe 5-10s for it to connect, but then I'm fine every time I use it thereafter until I let it sleep again or shutdown.
