Bluetooth Lav Mic Setup

Hey,

I'm trying to film something that won't require professional audio, but has to be a bout more than an on-board camera mic. I'm wondering if I could plug some lavalier microphones into these devices:

so that I could transmit the audio onto my iPad mini and link it to the video later.

Would it work? and if it would, how many transmitters do you think could connect to the iPad at once before the bluetooth would get overloaded? Would an audio recording app be able to receive audio from multiple input devices at once, or do they pick one?

...so many questions... if you can't already tell, I'm pretty clueless in this area.

You have the problem of "microphone level" vs. "line level". You'd need to place a microphone preamplifier between the mice and transmitters.

The best is to use wired mice. Next is to hide the recorder on the person. "Real" wireless lab systems aren't cheap.

Think about what you spent of the camera, lights and so on. Budget that same amount of audio. Your audience will put up with poor camera work and lighting but poor audio makes your work seem very amateurish.

Thanks, that brings me down to earth a bit. I may have gotten a bit too caught up in the wireless thing. I think I'll just pick up some recorders... Do you think these would do the trick?
