Bluetooth mouse becomes sluggish after watching Youtube videos and heating up the Macbook Air 2020

I have the new 2020 Air and last night after watching Youtube videos for about 2+ hours (nothing higher than 720P), my mouse became extremely sluggish. Essentially it became useless, so I just stopped using it and used the trackpad. I went to sleep after a few minutes and just woke up to find the mouse working again.

Anyone have this problem with their mouse/bluetooth after their Air 2020 gets hot?
Any advice on what I should do if it happens again?

Do you use 2.4 Ghz wifi? Try the change the channel or switch to 5ghz. 2.4 ghz Wifi may interfer Bluetooth.

no, I'm on 5Ghz. But that shouldn't make a difference. It only started happening after a few hours of watching Youtube, and seeing my temp hit about 70C+. All other times are fine.
