Hi all

I have a 2017 MBP and a Logitech MX Anywhere 2 mouse. The mouse works fine via bluetooth in MacOS.

However, the same can't be said in Windows 10 where I can't even connect the mouse via bluetooth. The same mouse used to work in both MacOS and Windows 10 on my old 2014 MBP, so it's something about the 2017 MBP bluetooth and the drivers in Windows 10 that seems to be the problem.

My question is, does anyone know how to fix this issue or can anyone recommend another bluetooth mouse that works perfectly in MacOS and Windows 10 on a 2017 MBP?

Many thanks

M.

I just bought the Logitech MX Anywhere mouse and love it. The main attraction for me is that is would connect to three different devices. I use Windows 10 Pro 99% of the time and so far my MX mouse has worked perfectly. I am using a 2018 MBP. Maybe you mouse is defective?

high Sierra on the mac min hated my Ihome bT keyboard, i went crazy* for 6 months trying to sync the 2.
while the keyboard worked good with the Macbook air and iPad running the latest software.

Bluetooth is very fickle and some think that apple products only accepts apple products in certain machines.

* emailed Ihome, apple , constantly delete temp files and tortured my self mentally over this.

Even if the drivers are the problem on Windows, why would another Bluetooth mouse not have the same problems? This issue should be solvable without buying new mouse.

Have you already tried resetting the mouse, updating Logitech mouse software, rebooting, updating Windows?

glass and metal hamper the performance of bluetooth waves.
im not suggesting moving inside a log cabin, but just check your surroundings.

With a punch of a button it will do either Windows or Mac. Been using for over a week and it worked without a flaw. After Windows recognized it, it automatically searched for the software and installed it with my permission.

It has a button on the bottom that you decide which device to use. I paired it with Mac first and then rebooted back into Windows and hit the button again to sync with Windows. It allows you to switch operating systems at a touch of a button.

That’s the newest one that replaces the one I have.
