Bluetooth mouse freezes on Safari (only Safari)

I upgraded to Mountain Lion and Safari 6.2.4. Now when I use Safari after a few clicks the mouse will not work on Safari. It will work on everything else but it's like Safari thinks there is no mouse running. Any ideas how to fix this?
