Bluetooth Mouse/Keyboard Issues

Hey everyone. I can't seem to figure this one out, and Apple Support takes forever. I have a new, 2020 MacBook Air with OS Catalina 10.15.5. I love this little machine, however, I have had a repeated issue. When using a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse (Microsoft and Logitech) both the keyboard and mouse are super laggy, and sometimes just quit. I have run updates and tried to keep up with drivers, but nothing has worked so far. Any help with the would be super appreciated!

I was having an issue with my Logitech dongle being connected to a usb-c hub. It was an Aukey branded hub and didn’t perform well.
