My Logitech Bluetooth mouse is since a while quite often not working or not working correctly (very, very slow) in Finder only, but working fine as soon as I switch to any open application (i.e. Mail, Firefox, Safari, etc.).

Doing the usual and not so usual stuff sometimes works for several days, sometimes only for some minutes: turning Bluetooth and/or the mouse off and on, deleting the mouse from Bluetooth, going into the debug menu off Bluetooth and resetting the Bluetooth module and/or deleting all devices from there - all of that with or without restarting the computer. Sometimes one thing helps for days, sometimes another thing does the trick, but I could so far not identify a clear pattern of what I have to do to fix the mouse at least for days.

The very strange thing here is that this malfunction is restricted to Finder. If it would be a general symptom I would, of course, assume that the mouse is the culprit, but the way this is presenting itself to me lets me doubt that.

Does anybody know this symptom, or has any other ideas what I could do to fix this?

Thanks - desertman
