Hey,
Just bought a macbook pro 15" (a week old) and everything worked perfect. But then yesterday i noticed my bluetooth pref pane was gone. (I'm 100% sure it was there before because i connected my iMac's mouse to it a few days before and that worked perfectly)
I searched the web for all sorts of solutions, there weren't many and the ones i tried didn't work so far...
Things that could solve this problem (but didn't work for me):
- restart
- deleting com.apple.bluetooth.plist in preferences + restart
- resetting PRAM
- resetting SMC
Any other possible soltions? experiences?
This mac is a week old so I don't think it's a hardware problem...or could it (how can i check that)
other info:
- system profiler says "no information found" in the bluetooth section
- system preferences doesn't show a pref pane for bluetooth (the bleutooth sharing options is also gone)
- when i open the bluetooth prefpane via finder i get the mesaage "bluetooth is not available"
hope someone can help!
Thanks in advance
