Bluetooth Not Available

Since I got leopard my bluetooth has occasionally been failing and the icon says bluetooth not available. I have found out that this is not just happening for me but for others as well. The only thing that seams to work to fix it is to shut down my computer and leave it like that for an hour. Does anyone have an idea that may be able to help me out. This is not a hardware problem so please don't give me suggestions that would only pertain to hardware problems.

What sort of Mac do you have?

I have a white macbook. 2ghz and 1 gig of ram.

Nice. Have you tried resetting the SMC?

Same thing happened to me. I tried everything and nothing worked. I ended up taking my MB to the Genius Bar and had to have my bluetooth module and logic board replaced twice. Ended up with a new SR MB to boot. Long story short, you may just want to take it in. Hope you get yours fixed!

Well the thing is that it isn't always broken, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't right now its working.

i suddenly had the same issue..... maybe i'll wait until the new mbp come out to bring it in
