On both of my iOS devices (iPhone 5/iPad Air) under the bluetooth setting I am having a problem trying to forget bluetooth devices.

An example is that my computer would be on the list and is "not connected". I go to connect and it says that it can't connect and to make sure that the devices are in range and the bluetooth is turned on. Mind you the bluetooth is switched to "on" on all my devices and they are literally right next to each other.

Then I try to "forget this device" and that option is greyed out and not available to me leaving me when devices that my bluetooth remembers that won't connect and that I can't get rid of.

Is there a way to force my iOS device to delete bluetooth devices?

Hope that this makes sense.

This seems to be something to do with iCloud/Handoff/Continuity. I have a bunch of devices on my phone and iPad that can't be forgotten.

i have the exact same problem, there is no way to forget these devices, hope it gets fix in 8.1 tomorrow.

to forget the devices sign out of icloud. They are linked thru your account. The connection will happen automatically when handoff requests it, so trying to manually connect them won't do anything.
