iPod touch Bluetooth on 2G iTouch a skype?

I saw the 2G iTouch can connect to a stereo bluetooth headset, does this mean it can also connect to standard Bluetooth headsets for apps like skype for making calls and for voice recording?

I tried with a Plantronics Discovery 925 and it saw it but wouldn't work. Apparently its only stereo headsets that it works with right now. I was very dissappointed.

It doesn't work with bluetooth microphones either. Only the Apple (wired) headphones with the mic.
