When I was going through my settings of my new iPad, bluetooth was set to ON by default. When I went to it, my iMac was showing up as pairable. What is the advantage to pairing an iPad and iMac? What are the advantages of bluetooth on the iPad besides for accessories?

Haha! I just paired my iPad to my Mini and seems OS X see's the iPad as a headset. Not sure if I'm restricted to use it as one but I'll play around and see what I can't do.

One of the primary uses for Bluetooth is for Headsets & Keyboards, but there are accessories that support bluetooth such as Scales and IR Blasters. There are other accessories that use bluetooth.
