When pairing Bluetooth Headphones with an iphone - does it "remember" the headphones after you first pair them to the point that you don't have to manually pair them every single time you wanna use them?

After the initial pairing, is it a matter of just turning on the bluetooth device and turning on bluetooth on the iphone and they are connected again, much like how the wifi works? Is this correct?

Thinking of getting headphones and want to make sure that I don't have to go into settings and pair them every time I wanna use them.

Thanks for you help!

As mentioned. But btw with most devices I find it better to have Bluetooth on the iPhone on prior to turning on the headphones. Seems to connect faster that way.

The pairing is a once-off thing.

I have two BT speakers, once paired, it automatically issues a PLAY command, the other doesn't. I kind of prefer the No Autoplay. Unfortunately not configurable.
