We recently got a new car and I have connected my iPhone to the car via Bluetooth so that I can take calls and listen to podcasts/music etc. while driving. However, my husband also drives the car and I’ve noticed recently that if I’m inside the house talking on the phone and he turns the car on to back out of the driveway, my call automatically starts playing though the car speakers. This occurs whether I’m just talking through my phone’s speakers, as well as when I’m on a call using my AirPods.
However, if my phone was playing audio through my car speakers and I went to put my AirPods on, the sound would continue coming through my car speakers. Is there some hierarchy or some way to prioritize the Bluetooth from my phone. I know all car speakers systems are different, ours is Entune it’s a Toyota, it does not have CarPlay (just basic handsfree), but o would love a fix for this bc I’ll just be sitting there on a call and drop the audio bc my husband pulls in the driveway:/
