I have a Sony Bluetooth loudspeaker, that works perfectly with my Sony Laptop, Compaq Desktop and Blackberry.

It also works fine with my new Mac Book Pro, for about 20minutes or so, usually, and then starts to distort the sound, like a vibration or rapid pulsing, often finishing with no sound at all.

I have done the obvious, like switching WiFi off, turning off any possible sources of interference, and repositioned the speaker close to the Mac. I have also connected the speaker by cable and it works fine.

It seems to me to be a fault within the Mac's Bluetooth app.

My Mac is new, but I haven't taken it back to the retailer yet, fully expecting them to try to play the third party device card, even when I explain the speaker works fine with other products.

Advice would be appreciated
