MP 1,1-5,1 Bluetooth problem

I have a mid 2010 Mac Pro 5.1, 12 core 2.93. I can no longer get any keyboard or mouse input to the screen and the Bluetooth icon in the menu bar shows a black transverse line through it. The mouse pointer moves, but no other input is possible. I tried restarting with all the usb devices removed, but no change. Of note is that a wired keyboard and mouse also have the same problem. I am guessing that the issue may be the Bluetooth module. Help?
