Does it say that BT is not available but continue working, or does it just stop working? If it stops working the bluetooth module could be broken. You could try opening up the mini and checking or you could just bring it in to Apple.

Do you happen to be running Parallels (the emulator to let you run windows on your mac)? This has killed my bluetooth a couple of times, requiring a restart.

I am not using windows

Spoke to apple today who helped me to get working which lasted less than an hour

This is a hardware fault i have to take it to apple to get them to sort it out
