Hello all,

Is anyone aware of some sort of a BT receiver one can plug into the AUX jack of a car stereo?

I have a brand new Jeep with the 2500.00 upgrade to the top of the line stereo. The stereo/NAV system supports BT for telephone calls but not A2DP. WTF???

Thanks

I have often wondered about this as well. Would be good to know if there exists such a beast.

While researching if such a beast exist I came across a product from Griffin that almost does what we are looking for. The problem is, it's AC and designed to work on one's home stereo.

In theory one could put it in one's vehicle and plug it into an inverter. But, at least in my opinion, that would create more of a wired mess then it would clean it up.

I have something that will do exactly what you need...

Check out the Sony Ericsson HBH-DS205 Stereo Bluetooth Headset. It's about the size of a double A battery.

I did a review of it here...

And here it is on Sony's site...

Thanks.

Though not a great review in regards to audio quality it appears to do exactly what I'm looking for. May have to check it out.

Regards
