Bluetooth remote shutter

I've been using a Bluetooth remote from amazon until it stopped working. I've bought two more of the same remote but still doesn't connect or if it does nothing happens. This is the generic Bluetooth remote that has the iOS and android button that comes with most selfie sticks. Anyone had the same experience? It used to be working fine for over a year. Is there some changes on ios10 that makes it not work? Or does anyone recommends another bluetooth remote. What about the hisy remote that's sold on Apple Store? Thanks!
