So it won't harm my phone to keep bluetooth toggled on? I usually just turn it on to listen to apple music and then toggle it off. I had once heard keeping bluetooth on all the time harms the phone. But if the watch needs bluetooth on, then I will turn it on and keep it on

BT has almost no material impact on the phone. Years ago, some folks wrote it was a good idea to turn off BT to conserve battery. I do not think anyone actually objectively measured the battery savings back then.
