Bluetooth Response Time slow with Mighty Mouse and Keyboard

I finally took the plunge on a a Apple BT keyboard and Mighty mouse, along with this "new" G5 I bought secondhand. Wireless is great, but I am getting delays with the keyboard a little sometimes, and big delays with my BT mightymouse. I have a 2nd BT mightymouse (that I keep in my bag with my laptop, and BOTH mice exhibit the same issues)

Any suggestions? A search didnt provide much help (firmware is stated as being up-to-date)
