bluetooth speaker disconnects when lid MacBook is closed

Hello,

ive recently purchased a dock, for my MacBook, its a HengeDock, which allows you to mount your MacBook, and have an external display attached,

before i started using this, the bluetooth will stay connected to my bluetooth speaker,

now.. for some reason, I'm using the dock, and the lid is closed, but in effect, is still open, via the external display,

the bluetooth will disconnect the speaker, ... i will connect it, then, 1min later, disconnect,

so then i'll connect it again, 1min later, disconnect,

the bluetooth speaker only seems to stay connected to my MacBook when i have the lid physically open, extremely annoying 😝
