Bluetooth tethering between iOS devices

I have no problem sharing my connection from my 4S via Bluetooth to other devices. I'm doing it right now actually.

I'm on iOS 7 also btw.

Thanks cynics. I guess that's just me then... I have tried many times and still can't get it to work. My iOS devices don't see each other under Bluetooth setting :(

'i' products are meant to send bluetooth out, with the exception of keyboard and mouse/trackpad, I have never been able to use bluetooth to connect iPad to iPhone or vice versa...

I do not think this is correct.

First iOS devices don't have mouse support, keyboard yes.

Second I share a Bluetooth Internet connection to an tablet (never tried my iPad, should work though). Not the other way around like the OP talks of.

What's an 'i' product? iMac has all profiles, many iPods have no bluetooth transceivers.

Here are the profiles supported for common specific iOS devices.

it works for me. I tether from my iphone to my ipad all the time.
Most times I use wifi but it works fine over bluetooth too (I just tried and it's fine).

Well, data sharing is one of the profiles iOS allows between "iDevices". You can pair an iphone and an ipad, and if you manually connnect to the iphone from the ipad BT device list, it will start tethering on the iphone.
