Ok. Let me see where to start. My parents have a macbook that they both use and they both bluetooth tether there phones to the macbook. It used to be that they could easily tether regardless of the phone bc the settings needed were the same. Now my dad has a new phone and it requires slightly different settings in the bluetooth setup in order to run.
I have tried a million different ways to simply make two separate bluetooth connections one for each phone. The problem is that whichever phone I most recently set up is the one it connects with. I tried to make a different user to see if this would allow me to create two non interfering connections but it saves the settings cross user.
Does anyone have any idea what i'm blabbering about or how to do what I need to do. My parents are not competent enough to reset the connection setups whenever they switch phones. And I am very tired of driving over here to fix it.
I have a headache.
All I need is either a way to prevent a new user from sharing the network settings of the admin.
OR
A way to make two separate bluetooth networks connect to two different bluetooth setups with out changing the configures of the other ones...
