iPhone Bluetooth tweak to connect to car?

Hi guys,

I have managed to connect my iphone 5 to my VW Polo (2012) however only voice calls and siri actually work over bluetooth. When i play music or video there is no sound. This has been a problem for me even with official 6.x firmware.

Now that the i5 is jailbroken i would like to ask if anyone knew of any bluetooth tweaks that might be able to rectify this problem.

This has nothing to do with the phone but rather the car itself. If you're car isn't equipped for audio over bluetooth there's nothing you can do.

I was in the same situation as you. My 2007 BMW wasn't able to play music through bluetooth and I'd have to plug in the AUX cord every time. I found this online and couldn't be happier. Read the reviews but I highly recommend it

I used that Belkin too in my '09 Jeep Wrangler. Works great for music. Jeeps are loud so talking to Siri doesn't work well unless I'm stopped. I purchased it mainly for the music feature so it's not a big deal.

The thing is it is supposed to do audio over bluetooth however i thought it it may be Apple's fault that it didnt work due to Apples ios 6 firmware.

Its strange how on the screen it has the song playing as well but no sound at all.

My Bluetooth connects to my 2013 335i but it no longer shows a picture of the album artwork, nor does it let me select different playlists which is slightly disappointing.

I'm still keeping the jailbreak but definitely miss this functionality.

I used to stre Bluetooth music from my iPhone to my 2010 GTI. Now that I jailbroke the phone. I am unable to pair. Now sure if its a bug in 6.1 or the jailbreak. I never tried it before doing so.
