I have a question for those who play games under Windows 11/Parallels 18. Do you use a Bluetooth mouse or a Wireless mouse (the type that have the little USB dongles that you have to plug in?
I have a Bluetooth mice (a Logitech M720) and while it works fine for most apps, several games - Links 2003 (yes it's old) and two that run under Steam (Grim Dawn and Links E6) that both have "issues" with either the mouse, the mouse pointer or mouse clicks at times. From what I have read on gaming websites (again no reference on those sites to M1 Macs or Parallels), it seems that non-Bluetooth mice are preferred for gaming.
Any thoughts or opinions?
Thanks

BlueTooth has varying latency. It also has been more or less reliable on certain models with certain revs of macOS. For example, my Mac Studio with Ventura right now is a disaster Audio is distorted unless I only use a keyboard and mouse. Adding the trackpad becomes a problem. When I game using a PS4 or PS5 Controller, I plug in the keyboard and use a wired trackpad, no mouse.
Wireless mice with their own 2.4 Ghz USB dongle tend to be better, but you cannot beat a wired gaming mouse. I have a couple of Razers I like.
