I have this bluetooth headset, the Plantronic Explorer 232, which has worked for my PS3.
Today, I decided to try to connect it to my Windows XP partition on my Macbook aluminum (the ones I they don't make anymore, I think). I went to do search devices, but nothing came up. I followed the instructions on the manual (hold button until red/blue alternating lights flash), but the computer simply couldn't find it. I was told to go to Device Manager and to go into Bluetooth Radio, but I could not find that section.
I did some looking around and found this.
I did that, looked in my device manager, still nothing. I haven't restarted my computer since the instructions didn't tell me to, but I will try later. Does anyone know why this is happening?
Specs: Windows XP SP3
Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.0GHz
2GB RAM
Mac OS X 10.5.8 for my Mac partition.
EDIT: I also cannot turn on discovery mode for my computer. Says the settings weren't saved when i hit apply.
