I take it the only reason to use BT on notebooks is for keyboard and mouse, but what else for?

Damn, bt headsets sound dangerous :D Brain tumors by the age of 30.

Can't you sync phone contacts as well?

So, we made Bluetooth headsets to eliminate the dangerous radiation from cell phones, and now we need headsets for our Bluetooth headsets?

no i didnt make myself very clear in the first place, sorry, what i meant is having a bluetooth headset next to your head, has the same risk as just leaving a mobile in your pocket with the bluetooth turned on.

I was hoping that when I got My Canon Printer for Christmas it was going to be bluetooth...It wasnt....I think having a bluetooth printer would be pretty cool so you could "hide" your printer but still be able to print almost anywhere in your house VIA the bluetooth

You can also send files to the Mac using bluetooth on some phones. Before the iPhone came out, I had a Samsung phone that transferred files that way.

Surely Wi-Fi would be a better option. Better range and better speed.

Some GPS units can be synced via BT (waypoints etc)

POS - Bluetooth scanners for mobile point of sale, take credit cards from your booth at the State Fair :)

Speakers- Yep they are actually out there

Printers - There are some standard inkjet printers (Canon and HP) that have BT, but more common are invoice printers.

Skype handsets and speaker phones

I didn't really use Bluetooth on my MBP until I got my LG Dare last week. I use Bluetooth everyday now to move pics and MP3s to and from my phone/computer. Super useful as long as I'm not transferring a lot of files.
