If it has the Tilde across it, something is already paired. If it is Grey, it is turned off and no Tilde will be across it. Check Bluetooth in System Preferences and see what is already paired and then tell it to forget that connection and try again.

Y Yellow 13 macrumors member Original poster Mar 26, 2011 50 0 Erusia Apr 7, 2011 #3 no i mean i lost the bluetooth like i lost the bluetooth card, there's no preferences, there's no anything it's just greyed out bluetooth symbol with ~ crossing it. also wen i click there's a little box "no bluetooth hardware found" tried system profiler maybe a hardware test?
