My MBP 17 early 2009 model was fixed due to memory problems, and a couple of screw/crossthread issues, if anyone read my crossthread post, it all worked out for the best. Memory was replaced
and back cover was flush again after Genius fixed both problems.
Now, my BT is intermittent? I have the latest updated (always instal updates) version of BT. But it just started to not work again today. After I had the Genius work on it the BT was fine for a week or so. Just today after a reboot the BT icon in the menu bar is grey, not black. And there is no option to turn it on. It just says: Bluetooth off and BT preferences, when you press the icon.
I am really contemplating if i should upgrade to SL b/c of the issues i have heard about the track pad becoming unresponsive? Oh and the only reason I am freaking out because my BT is not working is i really enjoy using the Might Mouse! With out it MM at my desk, my MBP just does not feel the same. At home I use the track pad, but during most of the day I am in the office with MM, and when it works good, everything else in the world seems to work good. When issues like these happen the world just does not make as much sense... I am kidding. But I know some of you know that feels. LOL.
Is there an update for the BT or was the update the problem that started all this BT shenanigans?
