Hey everyone,

I have an iPhone XS. However on my front facing camera photos I’m noticing some blurriness in my photos. Mostly towards the further objects/people to the sides. Is this normal or is anyone else experiencing this? Is this the phone trying to focus on the person in the foreground?

Thanks!

The camera can't focus on everything. It chooses the central object usually and focuses on a that. Anything closer and farther away from its set focus will start to get blurry.

Thanks! I figured as much. But I wanted to know if it’s considered normal due to the fact that I have a full screen cover that covers the front camera as well. However it is clean with no debris.

Thanks for the reply!
