Guys,

Try this with the new 1.1.2 firmware.

Just go into coverflow mode and flip around for 2-3 minutes.

check if your album art is blurry, because mine always gets blurry.

Yep, same here. Seems to switch to low-res versions. Especially noticeable when a track is playing.

Riiight

I've had this problem also, I've looked on the Apple support site and haven't found a single instance..Can I ask have you lot jailbreaked your pods?

Also what week serial pod do you have? Mine is a 9c738***** model...

Lets try and get to the bottom of this!

This happens on my touch as well. I had it jailbroken but then it went crazy so I restored it and now it's unhacked and it still does blurry coverflow sometimes and safari crashes.

Mine does this also but it seems like it does it instantly after a few flips when im playing a track. All Album covers are blurry. WTH!

Same on iPhone

I have the same blurry problem in coverflow on my iPhone every now and then.

I have seen this issue, annoying after I have spent quite a while getting good quality artwork attached to most of my albums - memory management problem ?

Blurry coverflow

It only does it when you have music videos loaded, as they show up under cover flow, also. If you remove the music videos, it won't do it.

Uh, no, it doesn't. My Touch does it as well and mine is not jailbroken and is used for nothing but playing audio. It's done it since the day I bought it (four months ago), and has continued to do so no matter what firmware I have. But oh well, hardware problems (home button, sleep button AND screen randomly being unresponsive) have caused me to contact Apple and get it exchanged soon for an iPod Classic...won't have to put up with it much longer.

BTW, mine usually does it if I select a cover and look at the songlist, or if I "flip" through the covers really fast.

Get this issue as well. Its not really a problem but its a bit of a shame.

Was wondering as well if its maybe just a feature of the iTunes app to save the phones memory a bit??
