Blurry pics with iPhone 5

Does anyone think their iphone 5 takes pics that are way more
blurry than the 4s? I am taking pics of my kids... But even when they are hardly moving the pics are still blurry. Even if I focus the phone manual the pics are rarely clear. Is this a common issue or something that might be resolved with a trip to the apple store?

My phone takes pics just fine if not better then my previous 4S.

Impossible to say. It could certainly be an issue with your specific device. Or it could just be insufficient light (very common problem with blurry cameraphone pics). We really haven't noticed this as a problem with our 5's.

I have noticed I need to keep the phone still for a split second after taking the picture to avoid any blur. I used to just snap the pic and immediately move the phone; I got blurry pictures doing this.
