Dear Mac users,

I have installed Boot Camp three days ago and all is working fine apart from screens. The text appear blurry and the scaling seems to be too small on one screen and too big on the other one. I have been playing with windows settings but without any success.

Computer specification:

- iMac Pro 2017
- macOS Monterey 12.3.1
- Graphics Radeon Pro Vega 64X 16 GB
- I run Windows 10 Pro for Workstations. OS build 19044.1682. Windows feature experience pack 120.2212.4170.0.
- Installed driver on Boot Camp: AMD Radeon Pro Software, version 20.45.40.15
- Apple boot camp software, AMD Radeon driver and Windows 10 are up to date

iMac display specification:

- 27 inch build in retina 5K
- resolution: 5120 x 2880

Apple Thunderbolt Display specification:

- 27 inch
- resolution: 2560 x 1440
- display connected to iMac using Apple Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 adapter. I have been using this adapter since April 2019 without any issues

Any idea what the issue might be? I attach default settings for displays by Windows. If I missed any required information, please do let me know.

Thank you in advance for any help on this.

Kind regards,

Jan

Using an external display with Mac's in general are kind of a pain due to the scaling of MacOS/retina. Here's a good website that has a graph which shows the appropriate PPI based on monitor size but at the end of the day you'll just need to play around with scale & layout settings until you find a good balance but it may just be a PPI problem.
