iPhone Blutrol PS3 controller no red light

i can't connect my ps3 controller to ios. in blutrol it says tht im connected, but the led flashes and dies.

Same here with 3rd party ps3 controller.

I follow all steps and it does the same, blutrol says its connected but all 4 lights continue to flash until it dies. Ive installed motionjoy on my laptop and the controller works fine with that.

Is yours a 3rd party or Genuine Sony ?

Im going to try my mates genuine controller next time im there

Genuine controller worked first pop. So it seems that the 3rd party controller was my issue.
