BMP does not display in email

Hello all,

I am new to this site. I just made the swap to MAC and I am trying to learn more about it.

When I get an email that has a .bmp picture, it does not display correctly. It just shows a ? in a blue square. This happens on some web sites to. How can I fix this problem.
