Boarding pass on lock screen now requires Touch ID/passcode?

My wallet items (boarding passes, etc) on the lock screen now seem to require Touch ID or the passcode to view them. I'm certain I didn't do this in iOS 8. Have I missed a setting somewhere or is this new in iOS 9?
