At 100 years old that's amazing - he was such a huge personality in Hollywood - I'm sure we'll see many tributes.

I remember watching all his old movies as a kid - loved them.

I can't believe that he is gone. I can't imagine the tributes and television specials that are all probably ready to go. He was an international treasure. I don't know what else to say, other than I am glad to have lived in a world where he existed.

Saw a great tribute to him and his work for the USO this morning on the Today Show.

That is a shame, he was a "true" star and apparently a very generous and kind man. He will be missed by many.

It was great that the networks devoted at least an hour in tribute to Bob Hope. I don't think that his record of 8 decades in show business will be repeated. He managed to use every available medium to make people laugh. As a entertainer he has managed to win more awards that anyone else in history, and from what I've heard more are planned.
