Sorry, not sure if this the best place to ask this but:

I would like to know if anyone can recommend Mac Lion compatible photo software where fun things - particularly face/body swap - amongh other fun manipulations can be done?

On my ooolllld Mac, I used to use Adobe Photo Delux - or something like that - for body swapping, creating fun pics and cards, etc. But now, not sure what is out there that would be Lion compatible.

Preferrably free or cheap software would be best, but I would be interested in hearing about any.

It doesn't have to be high-tech fancy stuff, I just want to use it for fun things (as mentioned above) in my elementary school classes with my students.

Anyway, any help would be appreciated.

The best solution would be pixelmator. It's the best App from the App store 2011. It has a lot of functions Adobe has, and is a lot cheaper.

Adobe Photoshop, of course, works on mac too.

You could also try GIMP. It's a free program, but doesn't run native on mac os x. (they use a layer in between to "translate" gimp to mac, as you might understand, this costs resources and the program doesn't work optimally).

Pixlr.com is an online photo editor. There's no signing up, just hit start and upload a picture. I used it once to edit a low resolution photo when I was somewhere else. it had a lot of tools photoshop has. But I guess it's far from being as complicated/advanced as photoshop.

photoshop is the grand daddy for all such works. I recommend that, or pixelmator.
