I ordered a bodyguardz, but i'm sort of worried that it might not be the safest thing to be spraying a film and putting it on my iphone..

What are the chances of the water sticker on the phone being hit, and also, what if the solution gets in the earpeice?

It's safe its just soapy water, It's a iPhone not a POS $20 phone, your not drenching the phone in water. It's just getting it on the surface plus there's been thousands including me that installed it on their iPhone no problems.

P.S. when installing have a friend help like hold the back piece while you line it up works flawlessly.

the water sticker is at the bottom of the headphone jack. it shouldn't be a problem. besides, if so many people have done it, you should be able to do it with no problem.

just be patient with the corner pieces

You must try not to get too much water around the home button, as the button can get sticky and unresponsive if enough soap water seeps underneath and makes its way into the contacts.
