so... its a necessary evil to keep my shiny stuff, well... "shiny".

BUT... i really do hate what it's done to my otherwise stealthy iPhone...

it now attracts dust and fuzz
little "dents" (like compression points from where stuff was resting on it) stay there for a bit.

and it smells (lol, seriously) faintly like maple syrup! LOL

i dunno... i wanna keep the screen fresh and the rest of the unit as well... but sheesh...

I'm a huuuuge fan of the BGdz on my MacBook, but on the iPhone.... not so much! :(

Do I smell pancakes too? :p

Kidding aside, based on the skins I've used, most of them will really collect dust, especially on the edges - no matter how you keep them. That's why I ended up taking them off, but behold a new option is starting to rise - the introduction of simple back skins that doesn't deal with the iPhone's edges/corners.

Holy crap it does. Hm, ok, weird...

I notice all of those things too. I think the difference between use on the iPhone and use on a MacBook is that you are moving the phone around and in and out of stuff a lot more, so its only natural that it is going to attract more crap. Personally I'll take that over a scratched up phone.

LOL, on the syrup thing... I'm just glad its not "just me" (though it is starting to disipate!!)
I'm with ya, though on the other fronts! ;)
I may look into these for the back, at least its something.
