Bold borders on desktop icons, and other stuff...

Hello all.

Just looking for a bit of help here. My 3 year old got her hands on my powerbook and now...we're getting these weird, kind of BOLD faced thick borders around our desktop icons, as well as on the "back" key in safari and other places.

Also, it seems like under the apple icon "restart" and "shut down" and "logout", and also "empty trash" in finder...seem to have doubled up somehow (does that make sense...there are two of each item when I open up that scroll bar)...

Can anyone help me get the computer back to "normal"??

I did try doing a search for "borders" "bold" "icon" etc., but didn't find anything specific here or in Mac Help.

You could try deleting your Finder preferences file and see if that fixes things.

In the Universal Access pane of System Preferences, make sure VoiceOver is off (toggled with COMMAND-F5).
