Getting info on a zip file (10.3.9) I noticed that its default application was something called "BomaArchivehelper." Searching the drive, I can find only a plist "com.apple.bomarchivehelper.plist" containing this name. A Google search turned up no clue as to what this is.

Does anyone know?

BOMArchiveHelper: A utility that comes with Mac OS X 10.3 or later. It is located here: "/System/Library/CoreServices/BOMArchiveHelper.app". Its purpose is providing a graphical interface to compress and decompress various kinds of archives. In Mac OS X 10.3, BOMArchiveHelper only handles .ZIP files. In Mac OS X 10.4, BOMArchiveHelper handles .TAR as well as .ZIP; there may be other archive formats it handles that I'm not aware of.

That was quick -- thanks! (Apparently I misspelled the name, which is why I didn't find the answer with Google.)
