I am getting seriously fed up with BOMArchivehelper for Tiger!! I switched to Mac OS X when Panther became available and immediately fell in love with BOMArchivehelper.. it was faster, quicker, easier to use than any other unzip utility available and I loved the way it worked. After waiting till 10.4.1 came out I went and installed Tiger.. and now I am experiencing several glitches with BOMArchivehelper.. since I use BOMArchivehelper every day this is a serious problem.
4 problems are occuring with it. The 1st problem occurs almost everytime I use it.. it has errors when I unzip multiple files. It says they have bad file descriptors, but its doesn't happen if I unzip it singly and it doesn't happen to the same files. 2nd problem occurs only occasionally when I unzip multiple files sometimes it skips a file and doesnt unzip it, even though I have selected it to be unzipped. 3rd problem is rare.. its only happened 4 times.. It shows its unzipping the files, but it finishes and none of the files are actually unzipped. 4th is a rare problem too.. when it unzips files it randomly corrupts some of them. EX: A jpeg/png picture file is corrupted and the top part of the picture is okay, but the bottom part is solidly greyed out.. like its been erased in Photoshop.
Is anybody else having these problems? Anybody have any suggestions?(I dont want to go back to using Stuffit.. that program SUCKS!! Its like Internet Explorer for Mac)
