I'm really interested in getting a Bookarc for my 11" MBA, but I've read from the Twelve South website and other forums that the new Bookarc for the MBA with a case won't fit.

I was wondering if the older/orignal? Bookarc with the replaceable inserts would be a better fit or if I should try the new Bookarc for the MBP's.

My 2011 MBA has an Incipio feather case.

bring it down to the shop to test the fit. AFAIK, the latest one won't fit at all. I had a power support case (supposed to be the thinnest among all plastic cases) and it still wouldn't fit. the older model with the changable rubber adaptor might be too tight or too loose...best way is to get it tested live.

I didn't think it would fit the MBA specific one, but the older one without the cable cut out, has the removable inserts. Does they Apple store carry the old version?
