Bookendz docking Station and heat?

Does anybody here have a Bookendz docking station for their MBP? I'm considering buying one but I'm concerned about heat. When you have the MBP docked is the heat about the same or worse?

It should have no effect on heat, since MBPs are designed to run in clamshell mode. As long as you don't block the heat vents in the rear, near the hinge, you'll be fine.

I would wait for reports on whether the Thunderbolt port works.
