I have about 30 to 40 GB PDF books on my 2013 MBA. With the Preview app in Mountain Lion, if I remember correctly, there is a tab called "Bookmarks," and you are able to bookmark different books. So if you want to resume reading a book at a bookmarked spot, you just launch Preview and click the pertinent bookmark. But all this seems to have been changed in the Preview app in Mavericks. I am no longer able to bookmark multiple books; the Bookmark tab is gone; and if I wanna resume reading a book at a bookmarked spot, I cannot launch Preview and click the bookmarked spot. The Bookmarks tab is not there any more!

Instead, I have to go to that specific book and find the bookmarks therein!

I like the old way--launch Preview, go to Bookmarks to find the desired spot. Less hassle.

Hate to resort to Adobe Acrobat Reader as my main PDF reader.
